I cannot thank Fern Funerals enough for everything they did during my time of need. The entire process from start to finish was handled efficiently & respectfully. I was kept up to date with everything. An extra special thank you to Desiree who was so kind & caring when it came to filling in the paperwork & answering all the questions that I had knowing that I was not doing well after my mom's passing.

We are currently dealing with the funeral of our dear mom who passed away recently. the team at Fern Funerals, wow, their professionalism, support, kindness and just overall dignity with which they handle this situation for us. Its been such a tremendous loss, but they make the process so beautiful and easy on our family. We would definitely recommend them and as a family we have decided to move our policies over to them, just for the peace of mind knowing people who cares about people, are helping us.

I am so disappointed with this place. The advisor who helped us was not compassionate at all and the pamphlets was of bad quality. The cross was not stable and broke after one month. It was a terrible experience with Fern and I would not recommend them to anyone. We went through such a tough time losing my mom and dealing with them made it worse. I should have paid more and go with AVBOB or even other smaller undertakers who showed more compassion

You guys become part of the family that you guys service I know you live next to my mom them but the whole team @ fern makes you feel comfortable and they all care about your situation and family. I would like to thank the team from the office to the grave yard staff you guys rock and I will recommend you at all times. This come from the bottom of my hart and I am really sure from my families side. Timothy you are a angle from heaven and please stay the way you are as you are blessed thru generations with your manners and your caring attitude . When my Mom passed away recently. The employers of Fern Funerals who helped me and my siblings deal with Mom's funeral execution were professional and dignified. We were dealt with in a very comforting way. I would recommended them in a heartbeat.

Worst experience ever. Cold staff who just add to your anxiety.

Delorice & Vernon Daniels wish to thank Fern Funeral Staff for their compassionate and efficient handling of the funeral of Mrs Selina Johannessen who was buried on the 7th January 2017. The building and interior of the business in Industry Way, Retreat is neat and gives you the feeling that "this is where we want to be". We were greeted by a lady called Samantha, and from the very offset we felt at ease. She handled everything so well that we knew we could leave everything in her care. She showed us what leaflets she has and we chose one and gave her the hymns etc. which we wanted printed on the leaflet. We did not realise we had not given her a thank you note and poem for the back of the leaflet, but when the leaflet was given to us on the morning of the funeral, she had used her own initiative and found a very appropriate poem and thanks and had it included on the leaflet. The gentleman who drove the hearse was also polite and professional. We arranged for him to be at the church at 08h15, but when we arrived at 08h00, he was already waiting for us. He did not rush away like some funeral services do, but stayed for the service. We will definately recommend Fern Funerals to anybody who is in need of compassionate, professional and very reasonably priced care. Well done Fern Funerals. Vernon Daniels
