Description

We sell artisanal cheeses, sourced from small producers all over South Africa. A wide range is locally produced in Bedford, Paterson and in the vicinity of East London.
The cheese sortment ranges from fresh to very mature, hard and soft cheeses, spiced to plain varieties. Most of them are produced on organic farms, some of them conventional organic others with a strong anthroposophic approach. All cheeses are made in South Africa based on traditional european recipes, such as Cheddar, Gouda, Sainte Maure, Chevre, Buscion, Ricotta, Haloumi, Feta, Emmenthal, Appenzeller and more!

We are able to purchase vegan yoghurt, vegan cheeses and tofu from Fusion! Another favourite is the Asian style sauces. Although on the pricer end, you will find items here that aren't stocked anywhere else in Grahamstown. While the Food Shop is situated in the industrial area of Grahamstown, it is quiet and picturesque, offering scenic views of the Eastern Cape open landscape. One can order freshly brewed coffee and sit on a covered deck outside the store to enjoy some quiet time. If you're lucky, horses from the nearby school may pay a visit at the fence across the deck. Fusion also hosts a farmer's market on select Saturday mornings.
Very nice food, especially the fresh fish. Clean, neat and interesting stock.
Lots of interesting goodies in this shop. Out of the way but definitely worth the visit. Great coffee too.

Fantastic array of unique cheeses, all of the cheeses are excellent. Excellent assortment of fresh fresh fish. Fusion has a wide variety of artisan breads and the seeded breadsticks are by far the best! It also has imorted novelty food products from Asia, Germany, etc. They also offer a one stop spot for many locally produced food stuffs from hummus, to ice cream, to pastries. Definitely a shop with a difference! LOVE IT!

Amazing Service. Has alot of interesting goods you don't normally find.Loads of meats,fish,coffees,snacks,treats and drinks to make your mouth water. Somethings are sometimes a bit pricy though. Overall a great place, love getting my Vanilla Coke and Dr. Pepper from there :
Great service and good selection in a lovely spacious new venue. Very pleased to have my favourite food shop back in action.
Great store with good selection of less-usual products and ingredients. Great fish, bread and cheese, in particular.
