If you want to know about the school ask the students As a student of future Nation schools I would say this is the worst school ever, complete nightmare. I've been attending future nation since 2020 and this school does not live up to their values but they just make people think they do All they want is money not really interested in education An example of me is that I have outstanding school fees so I am not allowed to be in the school premises it has been 2 months since I went to school and I am not allowed to write my final exams and I also didn't get my term 2 report because of this situation and this could lead to me having to repeat the grade And they have pulled me out of an ongoing lesson in class and took me to the office and waited the whole day for someone to fetch me and had not attended any lesson and this has happened to me more than 4 times This school does not live up to their standards the teachers here show no interest in helping students Excell but seems as if they also doing it for their pay check So I would advise you to ask the students how the school is And most of the bad comments here including mine are from the students and good comments are just to get people to come to their school And also the hygiene of the school bathrooms are very bad as well as the desks and chairs of the classrooms are either broken or unstable and the students have raised that but they still haven't done anything about it. So don't believe what this school posts on social media E.g the studio they have recently opened is for students with good marks only
Do not waste your time with this school! 1.They advertise having a library and a school psychologist once you register, they tell you they don’t offer those services. 2. We still haven’t received school pictures we prepaid for in 2022. 3. The teachers shout at the kids for not understanding the work and make them afraid to ask anything. 4. I have been asking for a transfer letter since the first week of December, they kept giving me the run around and ignoring my emails. I have paid all the fees in full and still waiting. 5. They constantly need money every month for a picnic or some fundraiser etc.
very bad communication. the way in which things are handled in the school is very bad. the school feels more like a business rather than a place where kids are accommodated
I didn't get the bad experience, with the teachers being warm and welcoming, as much as the content of the education is not up to my standards but I could tolerate it because the kids loved the school and the environment, though education I could see they are not up to the standard as compared to sparks schools and others, but dealing with Accounts department just made me to realise this is not a school to keep my kids, I mean the attitude from the accounts department can make you take out the kids in the middle of the year. Level of incompetence and never accepting any responsibility. Oh nooo big nooo even
What used to be a brilliant school, turned out to be a nightmare, after it was taken over/bought out from a Montessori school in Parkview and the new operators Future Nation Schools ran it into the ground. It changed from being a diverse school to being not diverse at all and the curriculum previously multi-lingual with English, Zulu an Chinese was suddenly changed mid year without notice and parents expected to pay for a reduced curriculum without knowing it! School readiness was down etc. The best thing we can say about the school is that the teachers at Lyndhurst campus were phenomenal - very caring and we loved them - but then again, certain teachers that didn't fit the "profile" were let go although they were very qualified. Teachers at the Randburg campus were no so nice and did their hair in the office during school hours. School fees differ by up to almost 50% for different school locations - Lyndhurst although right next to Alexandra 50 % more expensive than Fleurhof next Soweto but equally close to Northcliff, which didn't make any sense. When we transferred to the Randburg campus due to too high fees at Lyndhurst my children got bitten more than once by other children and all we got was a letter saying that this is normal....
