Gasco

Possibly the worst backup service I've received from a business in Bloemfontein in a very long time. Very disappointed. Gasco did a rebuilt of our home's gas installation. That included a complete gas installation for 4 gas fireplaces a gas electric stove, a gas hob and a gas water geyser in 2020. The work was almost R24000. Be warned you cannot expect any backup service from Gasco. One gas fireplace and the gas geyser started acting up soon after that. I also noticed some poor installation work some places that should be fixed. The fireplaces were supposedly converted to flue-less. Nevere happened and canot be used because of the gas smell. Made 4 phone calls. No answer the first time. Spoke to the owner the second call personally. Lots of promises nothing further. On the 3rd call left a message and was promised that I will be contacted. Nothing again. Two months later made a 4th call no answer. That was 6 months ago. To date no response. Will never use Gasco or recommend Gasco again to anyone. Be warned. Don't use this business.

I contacted Jaco on the 05th May to do a gas installation at a complex, I sent numerous WhatsApp messages, which were answered and he stated that he would get back to me with a quote as I had to send him a detailed email about what the body corporates rules were to do the installation, that was a week ago, needless to say I'm still waiting for that quote and it's now the 12th May., I contacted an alternative company which not only came out the same day, They also quoted the same Day and completed the installation on that day, and lastly also received my certificate of compliance on the same day, now that's what you call excellent customer service. I guess that Gasco didn't didn't need the R5000 business in these difficult times where all companies are complaining about the lack of business during the covid19 pandemic.
