The High Court is one of the old landmark buildings in the CBD. It is worth a photo I would say.
Just Pathetic. No wonder the court is dysfunctional. Nothing works officially between 13-14h00 as everybody is on lunch. That is why judges take so long with judgements, that is why endless postponement. Nobody is ever ready.

Literally the rudest woman assist me with a very snotty attitude when I asked for help. She made me feel stupid and small for being a citizen asking for help
At Issuing office 002 experienced difficulty with having my matter heard. Was referred to the secretary of court 8F, who would refer me back and it was such a back and forth situation. Yet excellent super service to the lady that works with urgent virtual court matters, she helped place my matter, helping me upload the documents , etc. She deserves a recognition and promotion of some sort. My matter was finally heard, as a result was granted an order
Applied for guardianship in July 2020, never heard from them since,. It's been over a year now. Tried to follow up and they are rude. A straight forward case.
The woman who was meant to help me at the High Court was rude, abrupt and well, unhelpful. She told me that I should know what I was doing even though I explained my situation to her. Very upset and disappointed! If nothing else, speak to people in a polite, respectful manner-I think I deserved that at least. Also, if I worked at a company where I didn't know how things were run, I'd be fired on the spot, so why are there so many people employed in government departments or institutions that don't know what is going on?!?!!!!
The place looks old and outdated. The elevators I used were dark with no lights. The security guards were welcoming and helpful though.
The service needs a major overhaul, except for the actual Court Proceedings... You'll be left utterly frustrated if your day schedule is packed, you almost always never make it out of here on time...
Staff work under difficult circumstances but still do their best. Many systems and processes in place to improve time spent and service delivery as a whole. Transparent leadership.
