The service we received from the gents at the restaurant, sales counter and during the tour was exceptional. The cheese tasting and the cheese tour is a must. Everything is well priced. Highly recommended.
Great selection. Very friendly staff and the best food and cheese selection. Well worth the stopover. Thank you
Great place. Stunning views of mountains. A lot of animals and feeding experiences. Small ponds and many goats. Specialist goat cheese farm.
Try the cheese platter! It is a real treat, along with the 'whiskey milkshake'!. Very nice place to visit.
Although it is no longer a cheese farm the indigenous nursery is fantastic. I highly recommend this place as a stop over. Also a really nice little restaurant.
Country eating at its best. Stop off and relax on your travels and leave refreshed. You won’t even notice there’s no Wi-Fi. Kids can play outside with birds and farm animals.
Had a great experience. We had a cheese tasting, some really great cheeses, nice view and very relaxing atmosphere. Even the milkshakes were very good. We fed some goats and the ostrich. All the animals were very friendly. The staff were friendly and were very informative and it was easy to sense their passion for what they do there. We bought some cheese as well as goat milk soap. The kids loved the visit and asked us to return again soon.
We were really keen to stop in at the goat cheese farm. Now that we have I don't think we will be back. The menu is very limited, the staff a little disinterested and no alternatives to menu items with cheese - goat's cheese or nada. The pizza we ordered was really not the best application for the now closed goats cheese farm - tasted very funky - the milkshakes were also goats milk or nada - I tried a brandy milk shake and found it perfectly ok-ish but the regular milkshakes also had a funky taste. I would seriously suggest that management reconsider the goat's milk ONLY policy and give the waiters and waitresses some ongoing training in menu knowledge and basic customer service in their industry.
Sorry to say, but the worst experience in a long time at a restaurant. This people don't know the meaning of service. In the 2 hours we were there, we had to run after a waiter to get noticed, then we waited 30 minutes for our drinks and another hour for our food. And when the food came we were highly disappointed in the burgers, get better quality patties or make your own, otherwise remove it from your menu. I know you were very busy, but if you've asked us if we wanted another round of drinks, it could have helped to wait that long for the food, but the waiters don't come to your table. The cheese platter were very nice.
Nice open plan restaurant. Place is well maintained. Prices on menus is good. No goats there. Covid19 impacted the business and owner had to auction off some live stock. Limited serving staff also. If you visit, dont be in a hurry and enjoy the calmness.
