GOG Gardens Soweto

Quite a disappointment. Didn’t see any changing rooms or signage thereof if there is any. The kiddies pool had minimal water with no water splashing out of the dolphins, mushroom etc. The pool was also slippery and the water was dirty. The slides didn’t come out water to make it easy for people to slide. The park itself was ok although the lapas are quite far from pools making it a bit difficult to monitor kids. Also the life guards were only positioned in the big pool. Great area to have a picnic and braai.

Its a nice place to take the family for a day outing on a hot day. The wide spaces give it an out of town feel and its reasonably priced. Just one thing for me that need improvement: The swimming pool needs regular cleaning, the pool floor was a bit slippery suggesting it needed some cleaning.

The bar isn't the best compared to the park. They need to improve their bar so that it meet the standard. I felt like I'm at one of the kasi shebeen, some shebeens are way better!

The place is still developing, there is one toilet for the whole place, I will that there can be more toilets to cater for thousands of people who go there and more trees will make it better or shades. Another thing which was not nice was that the child's swimming pool was so dirty, I wish they had changed them because children were swimming in dirty water.

I would never take my kids there when there are events ...no enough place for families.One should be able to hire a gazebo there but there are no facilities like that ..no open shop to buy more drinks.I don't think it's kids friendly for me ...

It's a beautiful place for a family outing. What I like about the place is that it has life guards at their swimming pools so you don't have to stress about your baby drowning.

The place is well looked after. the bathrooms are very clean. The guy that runs around with the motorbike ensuring that everyone is settling well. I say big up to him. He is doing great

The place is great but there's no shelter... Everyone came out black because of sunburn! Don't think I'll be going there anytime soon until they make shelter, they only make us pay for it like we're forced to and it should be that way only for late comers... On a first come first served bases!

Went there to spend a day with friends and family ... Awesome place to hold events, esp if you have your own reliable transportation, all that's needed is to find a good stop to park as that will be your chill zone ... Fun never ends in that place there is a pool and a playing ground for kids too
