They do authentic Asian dishes here. I am 110% happy with this place, and I feel right at home. The people working there are friendly and speedy with service. Ordered 7-10 dishes of food for a round table sitting 11 guests and we got our food 20 minutes later in intervals of 5-10 minutes in between a few dishes at a time. The manager was caring and came in to check whether we were in need of anything. Although the food portions look small in the beginning, I can say with guarantee that you will leave this place with a full tummy. Their food is absolute divine. I don’t think there is another Asian/Taiwanese restaurant that cooks better and has more authentic food than this restaurant. The best part of it all is that their pricing is affordable!! The inside decor, although looks old and dusty, adds to the atmosphere. I feel like I’m in a restaurant in an Asian country. Lovely decor, latern lights and chinese paintings all over the place. However, a recommendation would be to add more lights inside. It tends to get quite dark in the building, especially as the evening comes which makes it’s difficult to read the menus. Adding more light sources in the restaurant will definitely improve the ratings of this place!
The sweet potato & chicken dish.. Tasted boiled, hardly any sauce, tasteless and not served on a hot plate as always.. No care taken in setting the tables properly... New ownership.. Need to step up a bit....Food: 2/5
Service is great.. I see that many people rate as the best Chinese in PE... Food was okay, but certainly very westernized. Different strokes I guess.
Worst night ever! My family has been dining at this place since 2015, and the food has always been amazing, BUT the waitress kept messing up our orders. She also brought us the wrong drinks and whiskeys. She seems drunk and kept giggling and acting crazy for no reason while serving us. In the end, when we were trying to pay, she put a lot of things on our bill and insisted that we received those things. My sister even saw her drinking a glass of red wine that my mother ordered but never received!!! I hope the management will be able to address her issues soon, or else we will never come back again!
Always a lovely experience. Good service and tasty food at generous portion sizes. The set menu for two is a great option. Reasonably priced.
Be aware that this establishment is under new ownership and the new owner doesn't keep to the opening times. They're supposed to open 11h30 daily incl Sunday but by 12h40 on Sunday the owner still had not arrived to open for business and many would-be patrons left after driving up to the premises and finding it closed. We had opted to wait. It was a mistake! When the owner did arrive, a verbal fight between her and presumably a family member took place and from the body language I could tell he was telling her off for being late as he kept tapping his watch and shouting at her. She shouted right back at him, apparently oblivious to the fact I was a customer waiting to be attended to. I left without being attended to, to seek lunch elsewhere.
Went for lunch on Father's Day, and everything was so amazing! The service was great, the wine was at a good price, and the food was lovely!Food: 5/5

The food was great as always but the service was horrendous. Our waitress was drunk and was a disaster. We waited forever for our food and drinks and she kept bringing us too little dishes and glasses. Tables of people walked out due to her behavior. Management didn't even apologize or try and sort it out. It was supposed to be an evening of celebration and it was ruined.
Busy over the weekend. Nice interesting restaurant. Genuine Chinese people, so the food should be authentic.Food: 5/5
