The owner of The Unicorn Café and Salon, Shanelle Friskin, has a heart to see parents sharing quality time and experiences with their children. And so The Unicorn Cafe was born!

We aim to create a happy space where you can treat yourself with something sweet and share a fun experience at the same time with your little one.

My daughter loves it here. Lots of girly stuff to do.

This is a review for the Walmer cafe. Really nice experience. My daughter has been asking to come to the cafe ever since she spotted the sign - and we see it everyday now on the way home from school! We like the Walmer location, the cafe is decorated in a really pretty way, staff were friendly and efficient. Really enjoyed being able to play the board games with our kids while we were there. Would be a great venue for a party.

Worst experience since Zimbabwe. Regardless of what the menu says - only chicken strips available during the week according to the waitress. Pizza and other menu items only available over the weekend according to the waitress. Of course we were only told this after waiting for the pizza we ordered for 30 minutes! Wat happened to this place? Used to be great but now not worth wasting your time or money. I just wanted to say an extra big thank you for making my six year old daughter's tiny amount of time spent with her dad so miserable. Apologies will never make this right and will never get that time back! Pathetic, miserable establishment that should rather just close its doors that making kids miserable. I've never been more disappointed or disgusted with an establishment in my life!

What a nice surprise. I was very impressed with the decor. The only negative aspect is that it's a little small.
