This place actually deserves 1 star but the two stars are for the guy that grooms the large dogs. He reassured my dog when he became uneasy, he was patient and did a spectacular job. Either than that, the place was filthy! A basket full of wet towels were reused on other dogs and it's like the place didn't see a broom! I am so glad that I took my dog and waited with him because what I saw the two ladies do to the smaller dogs was heartbreaking! The ladies mishandled the smaller dogs and treated them as if they were rag dolls while grooming them. The ladies shouted, tossed and pulled on the smaller dogs. I told the one lady to handle the little Yorkie properly and got a whole lot of attitude.... Definitely worth rethinking

I was the first person to bring my two Persian pets into this business for the first time today at 09h00 am. A sign in the entrance reads first come first served. I asked how long it would take to do my two Persians, and was told 2 hours. I then returned at 11h00 am, 2 hours later as required, and as I walked in to collect my two Persian cats, I found my two cats were both huddled up in a cage, absolutely soaking wet, shivering cold, sitting on a cold wet sopping towel. In the meantime, another cat was being bathed. I was alarmed at what I was seeing, and at first I was told that they had been that way for 5 minutes, then as I asked more questions related to my concerns, I was told they had been like that for 10 minutes. Why with the first come first served process, are my cats both soaking wet and freezing cold after 2 hours have already elapsed? Furious and deeply concerned at the distress my cats were displaying, I insisted that my animals be attended to immediately. The little girl who says she's the Owner, starting hurling verbal abuse at me at that stage. After noticing she was not interested in listening to my legitimate concerns, I insisted she get on with what she should have done hours before. I then waited a further 40 minutes for both cats to be dried, because the amateur equipment being used is for only human use and not for animal use, which means the drying times are trebled to that which they should be. This new start up, only 2 years old, doesn't use proper veterinary / animal grooming equipment like pet shavers or driers, and the little girl who says she's the Owner prefers to hurl verbal abuse and called me a number of highly derogatory and insulting names when I called her out on her unprofessional setup. I will NEVER EVER AGAIN subject my animals to the kind of inhumane treatment they suffered at this amateur facility. I don't believe my cats were left wet, cold and unattended for only 10 minutes. It was much longer than that given the stress they were under by the time I got there. Shame on you whoever you are.

Kind, efficient and friendly

Always a delight to take my baby to Groomingdales. The staff are friendly and efficient and my baby always come backing looking and smelling beautiful

I would never recommend anyone poor service and my puppy came back with cuts on his neck and his genetals and blue marks on his back ever since his visit to the parlor he is traumatized I'm really disappointed and such places should not be opened to give such horrific services

The driver was pathetic and had a lot of attitude when he dropped of my dog. My dog was not given a proper bath as well. He still had hair on him when he was dropped of even though he was shaved. Absolutely pathetic service!
