Marc Hanekom obtained his MSc (Zoology) from Stellenbosch University from his study of honeybee behaviour. He pairs this knowledge with a passion for beekeeping, and is known as the 'bee whisperer' due to his calm manner and understanding of the honeybees with which he works.
