Nelson Projects combines the investment in the futures generations with the assistance and experience of the founding members also both the public (government) and the private sector – corporations, foundations, non- governmental organizations ( NGOs, NPOs CBO’s) and SMME’s local businesses and other groups – leveraging their capital and investments, creativity and its access to communities to complex solve social problems facing our rainbow country South Africa
Nelson Village Organization is a nom profit company and was founded when we realized our social economic situation urgently requires for NGO’s to step in and we had put a very solid structure to assist all these areas where services are urgently required
The main aim of our work and any intervention offered by Nelson Projects is to bring a positive change in the community. With the organization founding members with many years of experience, we have realized that this is only possible if we focus on all the important elements as well as people in the community. Besides, every community in South Africa is facing specific unique challenges and problems.
Those problems can only be addressed and understood by listening to the community members and allowing them to identify their needs to us.
Based on our Information management system whereby we will enter the communities and collect data and information we be guided to identify the immediate problems and find a suitable solution that’s most promising and implement it for the improving the lives in this community
Every community intervention consists of several important elements
Firstly, we have developed several intervention tools in form of international acclaimed best practices programs addressing different needs, such as poverty, lack of basic infrastructure like clean water supply, educational development and employment empowerment, HIV//Aids and cancer awareness and social development.
For intervention, we choose the most suitable programs that will compliment each other to increase the impact in a community.
Secondly, sustainable solutions need to be build around strong partnerships and have a sufficient support base. Nelson Village organization follows a systematic approach and enables a meaningful change by engaging all relevant stakeholders in the public, private or NPO sector
