This place is not a major aquarium but is a local place to visit. Finding an uber once you are here may be very difficult so do make a plan before you get there. I saw things that I marvelled at. Snapping turtles, pelicans, seals and crocs. Was a nice day out
It's a nice park. You have to understand the animals there live in swamps so their habitat is ideal for where they are staying. It seem very clean and nice on our visit. The seal, pelican and croc feeding was awesome! You can also hold a baby croc. Also in the same money you get entrance to Makalani bird park which is really nice. Has a variety of birds and monkeys. Even a play place for kids. I give them a thumbs up!
Not wheelchair friendly. The wheels of the chair get stuck on the brick paving and large areas with grass. The animals are well kept, but the variety is small. Some fish seem to have tumors. The personel at the akwarium and bird park are friendly
Bloody brilliant seal and crocodile shows. Amazing staff, must see when in Harties. Visit all 3 related parks and make a day of it.
Had excellent experience, really love the seal and crocodile and pelican tour. When you buy a ticket you get a free ticket for the bird park down the road. I loved to walked trow the aquarium especially the big ones where you can get the real effect of what the ecosystem look like in the dam. Animal very well looked after. Very clean enclosures and water. Very friendly staff as well. Will definitely visit again. Also went to the bird park, have beautiful birds and n walk in cage where you can see the cape vultures up an close. Bird park need some improvement but animals looks nice and healthy. They also have some monkeys and meerkate and raccoon to look at.
This place has really picked up over the years. I'm so proud of them. I went through the week and I was lucky enough to have a private crocodile, seal and pelican show! Buying a ticket here also gives you access to the Makalani bird park down the road.
Great local attraction. Small park, good for little kids. Lovely experience to touch the animals and not be overcrowded.
Great day out between the aquarium, birdpark and Chameleon Village. Very well maintained and great work done by the team with the rescue seal. Interactive shows was great and very informative. Halaal food places would be a bonus however overall experience was positive. A great day out with family and young kids.

We had a good timr exploring the aquarium and outside surroundings. I think the aquarium is in need of a make over and maintenance, i do believe if they had the funds and investment this could be an excellent tourist attraction. The animals are well fed and cared for. We enjoyed the crocodile, seal and pelican interaction. And a bonus was free entry into the bird park at malapeng
