Our aim this year:
To create Unity and a working relationship between the different NGO’s (Charities) and Role-players
To create awareness among the public with regards to services available to them
To highlight social issues, such as:
- Disability care
- Elderly care
- HIV: Awareness, prevention and treatment
- Crisis pregnancies
- Child protection
- Family reunification
- Poverty alleviation
- Substance abuse: Awareness, prevention and treatment
- Human trafficking
- Abuse against women and children
- Crime
- Animal protection
- Unemployment and skills development
Organisations will build a float representative of their services and will still do a progression through town, like in 2017. This year we will also attempt to break the Guinness World record for the largest can Food pyramid. All collected tins will be redistributed into our community
