Hi-Fi Corporation - Southgate

Not the best service we got after buying most of our appliances there. We bought a fridge and we were told it has 5 year guarantee which is supposed to end on the 17th Dec. We logged a maintenance call for this passed Sunday because the fridge stopped cooling and they said they would come this week they still haven't came till today. So I decided to call only to find out that there's no guarantee it has lapsed my question is why did we receive an SMS that a maintenance call has been logged and also why where we told that it hasn't lapsed. If it wasn't for me calling we wouldn't have known this because we got two different sets of communication.

The customer service is extremely terrible. A salesman by the name of Phuti/Khuti tells me that he's doing me a favor by giving me a quotation. My company refuses to do business with hifi Corp southgate as they have really rude sales people. The sales approach from the sales team should be more professional and have good work ethics. Asked to be out through to the manager, they just bounce the call from 1 person to the next. Really unhelpful. Terrible for such a big named store.

Customer service in this shop is very terrible, they do not know what they are doing, they kept my personal documents with them and didn’t want to return them, I regret ever setting foot there!!

Never have I ever had to deal with such incompetence! Bought a package of a laptop and printer at the store and had problems with the laptops from the time I unpacked at home. Took the laptop back to the store a few days later was given a lame explanation that I leave too many apps opened. Took it back again a week later and it was booked in for repairs. Long story short - over a month and I'm still waiting for a laptop. Communication sucks and they never answer calls!

Walk in at 10am on a Friday morning and only one rude Salesman Themba talking and joking in store. Located another salesman and he asks me to wait 20 minutes because they waiting for keys to open cabinet. Been to many Hi Fi Corp's in and around Joburg and I received great service but this store's service is BAD

One Hell of a place which lacks customer service. Been at the shop for almost and hour and the ppl serving are really unhelpful. Nomalanga on the till is busy doing some explanations to clients and guess what, she is the only person on the tills.... Tebogo the sales person disappeared for 10 min and comes back, no one cares. This is ridiculous to say the least and doing business with this shop, you will need to be aware of their attitude. Follow the hello Peter review that I will post in a few days What a service!!!

Level of service rendered very poorly especially at the repair department when you bring something for an exchange or repair, they will say we will call you. Of which they dont. What frustrates me more is when attending one customer they gobble close to an hour, their excuse will be " I work alone "the other colleague is off" nx

The staff is wuick to assist you,you dont have long to get assisted

Bought a sound bar earlier this year, took it home, connected it, it wasn't working returned it within 7 days and was told that when you return items you've opened they have to deduct a certain percentage, which I refused and received my full refund. I will never recommend this store to anyone.

They seem short staffed, had to wait for almost 30mins to get assistance
