Hope's Horizon Rehabilitation Centre's offers a comfortable, private way to discover why living life in sobriety is not just responsible, but fun.
Our location in the unspoilt bushveld of Bela Bela, away from the stresses of an urban environment, enables residents to unwind and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings whilst being able to fully focus on personal development and their recovery. We have 100 acres of diverse indigenous bushveld, prolific birdlife and small game.
There is a quaint lookout tower which provides an awesome view.
The terrain is fairly flat with interesting walks on well set out paths The stunningly beautiful environment contributes to the growth of a healthy, more spiritual lifestyle. This rehab centre is superbly positioned and allows the environment to contribute to the treatment programs healing effect by using nature to engage the patients in a healthy recovery and new way to live.
We have fully equipped chalets and log cabins. All of the units have their own bathroom facilities. All meals are compulsory and taken with all the residents in the communal dining area. A balanced diet is followed and we also provide for patients with specific needs.
The duration of the in-patient program for drug dependency is a minimum of 28 days, depending on the patient's physical and / or emotional progress.
The rehabilitation program includes the comprehensive services of the following multi-professional team:
• A clinical psychologist
• Medical practitioner
• Social worker
• Caregivers
Daily communication takes place amongst the members of the professional team in order to monitor and adjust the progress and recovery of the patient. The team is fully equipped to provide the patient and his / her family with medical, therapeutic, emotional and spiritual support. During the treatment the patient and his / her parents or concerned party take part in group therapy and lectures Our highly trained and experienced staff members work with individuals and their families to ensure that they fully understand our approach to addiction treatment and rehabilitation. They provide much needed advice to help families understand the need for support .
