The worst hospital ever, Dr Thobejane was very useless. I took my 1 year old to casualty @7am because he had a fever and diarrhea with stomach cramps. He prescribed panado and rehydrate I had to drive to Mediclinic, only to find that my son has a stomach infection. Useless hospital and doctors
VERY BAD EXPERIENCE !!! I am very concerned about this facilitie' ability to assist in an emergency. My elderly mother was there to get help with extremely high blood pressure and chest pain and obviously very ill. I Phoned the hospital in advance and they confirmed they can see her at a cost of R3000 to stabilize her so she can live through the night to see her specialist the next morning. On arrival we were told that we need to pay the R3000 then the Dr will see her and if serious he will have her transfered to a hospital in Pretoria. Basic answer was we cannot treat her. We left and I can only hope she lives through the night.
I have taken my sister here once and my mother twice on emergencies. No doctor at the hospital. We waited over a hour for a doctor and was told by the staff that the doctor will get here when he gets here. This has happened on multiple occasions. As the only private hospital in town, you are dependent on them for emergencies. One doctor on call. Who will get here depending on... no idea what it depends on, as the sentence was never finished So, in a real life threatening emergency, take your loved ones to Pretoria. I will add that the emergency sister on call was trying her best to comfort us and do what she can. The doctors though, are a whole other story..
Was admitted on the 22nd December 2020 at the maternity ward. The service at the hospital was amazing, friendly and helpful staff. From the ladies who were bringing me food, the cleaners, the nurses and even the manager and Dr de Jonger. Thank you so much for the excellent service, keep it up!!! I would definitely recommend phodi clinic as the number 1 go to hospital.
I was admitted on emergency, the doctor on duty refused to see me, they said I must call my on doctor. Bad, horrible experience ever.
Very unhygienic. Dropped equipment on floor and re-use without sanitizing. Not wearing gloves. Touch dustbin and then not washing their hands thereafter. Personnel walking in slippers and no information is given in order to know what is going on or what is planned.
You can phone the Hosp number, wait for how long, then nobody answers the phone......please invest in a receptionist
Thanks Dr Nambi and staff for your effectiveness, professionalism and very friendly service!
