Horse shoe falls trout fishing. Located in the heart of sabie, surrounded by the the beautiful Longtom pass mountains, and Lowveld forests, this family outing boasts a safe venue where guests can hike to the Horse Shoe Falls as well as catch trout at a small dam. With clean toilets, braai facilities, and a lot of trout related experiences, this venue is a must for any family. You can hire fishing gear and buy bate at the venue. And you can also see small pools of baby trout. Children can even play with the local cat and puppies. You can pre-book tables and sites, and the owner is a friendly gentleman with a lot of trout related info to share. You can also be fortunate enough to spot the local fish eagle.
Great place to take kids. Son loved the experience. Owner friendly and shared alot of knowledge.
Had a great experience at Horseshoe Trout & About. Wonderful place to take the family for a picnic and trout fishing - no experience or gear needed. Caught 3 beautiful fish in no time which made a very special dinner!

Beautiful waterfall, but the roads are horrific and it's a hassle to get to ot.
Great spot, neat and tidy. Owner was extremely helpful in setting the kids up. Caught plenty fish! Hidden gem for sure. Definately worth a visit
What a lovely place for the kids to have fun. We fished with loads of success and then sat and braaied the fish that we had caught. It was so amazing and the first time fishing for the whole family we really enjoyed it. I think what made it such a success was the owner Tobie who helped us with everything from showing us how to fish to gutting and vacuum sealing the fish we didn't eat to be able to take it home. We came with nothing and everything was provided for us cutlery, chips, sweets the works. What an awesome place to make awesome memories with the kids
Well stock for novice to fish, day enjoyed with kids.
