House of Graduates Pretoria

I phoned House of Graduates a few hours before I went to my graduation photoshoot. The employees were very friendly and the shop was not too busy. The shop is a bit hidden from the main road, but it is not difficult to locate as there is a board and direction where to go when entering the business complex. The prices are also reasonable and the deposit is refunded. Did not wait at all when I returned the gown to receive the refund.

The place is very neat, the staff is friendly and on their toes waiting to assist you. They sell and hire graduate gowns. The building is located at the back. There is limited parking inside at the back and also in front on the gate.

I am one of the graduates who couldn't graduate due to the lockdown. I had paid for my gown and everything. After the lockdown I contacted House of Graduates to please have the gown for just a photo shoot as this was important for me and my family. There was no response up to date. Maybe if I ask on public fora I will be taken seriously. I would like the gown that I paid for for a shoot on the 11th of October 2022. You have my details and I will collect then.

Very badly organised. Prices change on a whim, do not bother making a booking as there is long queue.

After 4 months of sending countless emails about getting my refund, they still refuse to refund me. I don't recommend this place.

We arrived there early this morning before the queue. However they are very organised and efficient with the process so it was a pleasant experience. Excellent service. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

I highly recommend to anyone graduating to please get your attire from another provider. Do not make the mistake that I made. House of Graduates is so bad that I wish I could give it 0 stars, but unfortunately I have to give it 1. I drove an hour to Pretoria last week to pay and book my gown and cap for my graduation, I was reassured that I would receive it all on the day before my graduation. So the day before my graduation I drove another hour to Pretoria to collect my order, which I payed for. However, I was told that they did not have anything in stock. Today is my graduation day and I began it by arriving at UP at 05:00 because I was told that they would be able to help me at 06:00. However there was no one to help me. My graduation begins in less that 2 hours and I am yet to get my gown that I paid for. They quite literally do not provide their only service. My graduation is not as joyful as it should have been, all because of the stress that House of Graduates provided.

After driving through the rain and terrible traffic, I arrived in a huff. The guys here were friendly and managed to not only lift my spirits, but they also fitted me with the correct size gown/hood in a matter of minutes. Upon returning the gown/hood, I was greeted like an old friend. Wonderful service!!!

Absolutely horrific customer service. Despite messaging the WhatsApp number on numerous occasions and calling all the numbers I can find, nobody picks up or gets back to me. I graduate in a week but despite making first contact a week ago, I have no been able to organise my graduation attire. Clearly from the other reviews, customer service is not a priority.

Good service, I didn't have to wait long to get my items. However, I didn't know that their 'standard' price list isn't for all universities. So note to either email or call to ask for the specific university you're getting regalia for.
