My husband and I wanted a small , intimate wedding and we decided on Ibhayi Guest Lodge. The food was excellent , the guests still spoke highly of it for the following two years. There were one or two irritations I had with management but I wasn't much of a bossy bride. Our suite was awesome, and we received good complimentary items. The venue is pretty and decorated to begin with , but my mother and a friend did the wedding decorations in addition to the venue's. It looked absolutely beautiful.
Staying at Ibhayi Lodge is always a pleasure. The staff are friendly, welcoming and always eager to help where they can. I had the pleasure of being accommodated in the newly renovated rooms which I definitely enjoyed. The breakfast, dinner and dessert were delicious, compliments to the chef. I'll definitely be making another booking.
The place has excellent accommodation. The food is alright. I was just angered by the reception guy who I informed what time tue shuttle should pick me up and he never called them when I informed him in the morning. He called the shuttle when I was ready to leave. And they took longer to arrive and had to take an UBER instead.
It was an okay experience. The rooms were clean. We had to wait a while to get the things we asked for after calling the reception to make requests. The reception we received when we were checking in was luke warm but they were very helpful when it came to giving directions for nearby facilities. My sister lost her sunglasses and they did not assist us at all. The staff at Leo Bistro was friendly. The food was good.
Love this lodge. We'll appointed rooms and we'll priced. Attention to detail. Great spot if just passing through or staying for a while. Breakfast was amazing, great variety and well made. Great stop over if hitting the safari spots like addo a day want to do a day in port Elizabeth
Ibhayi Town Lodge is a 4 star facility, and I can understand why. The facility itself is nothing less then beautiful, it's modern and sophisticate, it's clean and I don't think I saw one area that was left messy. The staff and workers are constantly doing there jobs and are as attentive as staff and workers get, they are extremely friendly and accommodating, they always have a smile on their face. The variety of facilities they offer are good and the options they provide coincide, aka the menue for food has a fair amount of choice and the qaulity is amazing. The prices are moderate and fair. Overall a fantastic place to hold a conference, team building event, etc
A couple of small housekeeping and maintenance issues. Fantastic well appointed room with a bath which is always one of our criteria. Within walking distance from shops and a few restaurants as well as LA sport where we needed our shocks replaced.
Great place. 2 pools. Excellent breakfast. Some housekeeping issues and restaurant service needs some attention. We will definitely stay here again.
Stayed here for a weekend, Room were nice and spacious and very clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was a limited, however the location is good, quite a number of restaurants around
I was meant to stay 2 nights, within a few hours after having checked in, I was moved to another room due to a strong damp like smell in my room. Just as I was about to get into bed, a cochroach ran over the white bedsheet. I killed it and called the guy on duty to see the evidence. He came, saw it and I told him that I am checking out. This was 11 at night. Fortunatel the Garden Court opposite Mc Arthur's swimmingpool had a room for me. They also ended up being slightly cheaper. After the room and cochroach issues, eveeything else just compounded...no soap in toilets to wash your hands, a dirty towel to wipe your hands, dirty carpets in the common areas, etc. The staff on duty is desperately silent and embarrassingly making excuses for what I think is a management/owner problem. I love PE, but I don't recommend this place to anyone visiting. They are an embarrassment for the strides PE made in uplifting their tourist/visitor's offering. Clearly owners who are putting money before service.
