These students can opt to study by themselves (your typical ‘correspondence’ student), or attend lectures and tutorials at various institutions to obtain the benefits of contact sessions with lecturers and other students.
As an independent training company, IC(E) is not bound to bureaucratic rules and red tape, and thus, is in a position to be flexible according to each group’s exacting needs.
Flexibility according to Student Needs:
The structure and pace of the contact sessions is determined by the requirements of each group, both in terms of frequency of sessions, and pace at which course work is covered. Our facilitators therefore, work according to the groups’ needs.
Typically, tutorials are held weekly, but these requirements can be adjusted according to the needs of the particular group.
Leave No Student Behind
Because we limit the number of students to less than 20 per group, it is easier for the facilitator to identify any students who are not coping with the course material. You are not one of 30 or 40 in a class. Thus remediation can begin immediately, with the facilitator allocating extra time as required to get that student up to speed.
