Awesome service and food. Classical old style restaurant with formal waiters dressed to a tee. Food is prepared by a passionate chef and the menu has some unique specialities that make you wish they have a takeaway menu. Lovely enclosed garden section in restaurant where you can bask in the sun or under an umbrella. Truelly a gem.

No covid protocols inplace, to many people with no social distancing. No adherens to cerfews, selling alcohol after hours, Drunk people and cars blocking the R511 in the mornings, causing accidents and drunk people getting knocked over on the main road

Property falling apart rooms needs intens cleaning. Bad service at breakfast left without it after waiting over hour. Will not recommend it at all nor returnRooms: 1/5

Idle Winds is an amazing culinary experience, do not let the outside and the slightly dated decor fool you. This is amazing value and superb food! If you love chilli, ask for the homemade chilli sauce - you will have to go a long long way to find a hotter chilli sauce.
