I walked into their Cape Town branch looking for a spare phone, I walked out with what looked to be a brand new iPhone pre-loved ready to work at a great price. Service was quick and professional, exactly the kind of business I would go back to or refer. Great VALUE.
We fix is your branch in Cape Town still open or not I been emailing several times to sent my device back again after just a month I paid over R6000.00 now to fix this phone and it's not working again. Check your emails and reply,,I can't just get up and walk to cape town if I had knee surgery,,I mean literally this is to much I keep on emailing your offices and no even replies,,and please update a person cell number if I have asked this several times,,, ARE YOUR BRANCH STILL IN CAPE TOWN.
to get anything done you have to go to the shop. there is no phone number to call, and no one replies to emails, even though they ask you to send an email as your only point of contact. they do provide a link where you can view the status of your repair, but I find that is often out of date. the information provided on the status link is also poor. it just says "awaiting parts." there is no indication of what parts they are waiting for or how long it will take. we have been without the phone for a week now, after the expectation was created that it would be 2 days, and we have no idea how long it is still going to take. this will be the last time I use wefix.
I was very impressed with the service at weFix and the staff who went above and beyond to explain everything to me and help me get what I needed. It feels so good to not buy something new but know you are still getting excellent quality.
I recently took my Samsung Note 20 Ultra to weFix Cape Town to have my screen replaced however when I got my phone back they had completely erased everything that was on my phone for the last 2 years. Besides wiping all my photos and memories they also deleted all my apps, including a password app with all my passwords and security keys to my crypto accounts. Some of which I still have not been able to get back and have lost with quite a bit of cash in them. WeFix had previously this year fixed my screen on the same phone and backup up my data and restored it when I got it back. This time staff in the store admitted they had made a mistake and that it was their fault. Now I have a phone back without my photos AND I have lost access to the money in my crypto accounts because they wiped my security keys. The worst part of this is, I had not actually intended to leave my phone there the day of the assessment. I had just planned to get a quote, but they said as it was a policy claim I could not take the phone away as they've assessed it and in case any further damage was to happen I had to leave it there. Normally I'd have done all the backups necessary but this through me off as I had to leave my phone without preparation I mailed the head office and they literally just said that their T&Cs state they are not liable for data loss and ignored my follow-up mails, even though their own staff admitted to negligence?!
PLEASE DO NOT USE we fix Cape Town. The absolute worst service and effective lying to people about issues and problems to make more money. We had to replace our MacBook keyboard, which they charged something like R5000. We only found out afterwards that they replaced the keyboard with a generic version, which packed-up in less than a year. When confronting them they now indicated that the hard drive is faulty, which will cost R10 000 to fix, which is not the case after getting two additional opinions. This operation is akin to scamming people. ABSOLUTELY AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COST.
Staff very apathetic. Dropped off an iPhone X for a battery replacement and it was returned with the screen poorly reaffixed. Took a further two visits for the screen to be reaffixed properly. No apology given and now the screen appears to be delaminating. Not recommend.
I bought a pre-owned phone at wefix. They took it in to be fixed because the phone malfunctioned a few times. They then took the phone back and promised a refund, but I had not received my refund after some time. They are difficult to reach as there is no number. I'm so disappointed. I would not recommend buying any phones from this company.
Quite possibly the worst service you could receive from a business. I dropped our ipad off to be repaired, and a quote was issued after an assessment was carried out by their technicians.. OVER A MONTH LATER… the ipad has failed to be repaired…. And that’s just the beginning. This business does not believe in having a phone, so in order to contact them, you must email them… this would be fine if they responded promptly or had a live support function… keep dreaming. The take days to respond to a simple email. I dragged this business on social media where they responded quickly… and said they’d look into it. Well, nothing happened. Pathetic is not the word. Perhaps useless is. Anyway, after over a month of ongoing shop visits and fighting, the mail drops in our inbox… “quite rejected” unable to fix the iPad. It’s like a plumber not being able to fix a leaky pipe, perhaps they should look at doing something else that they actually can do… a long rant that would have never been spewed had they the respect for their customers to have a phone or take some responsibility. Zero accountability. Tsek!
Not a good experience Emailed them directly after they asked me for my details so they could find out details, that was more than a month ago and they have not gotten back to me. They replaced the screen for my iPhone and a couple of months post this the screen started ghost scrolling so bad that I was unable to use the phone. The screen repair apparently comes with a 12 month warranty so I took the phone back. Their response was that there was a chip on the screen which voided the warranty. The slight chip on screen would not be the cause of the ghost scrolling as it only affect the glass cover. Never use these people, rather go to Istore who will replace with a original screen and at the same cost. ***Followup*** They responded asking me to get in contact with, which I did and it’s been a couple of months now, they have not come back or reached out to me. To reiterate rather go to the Istore if you can!
