The Independent Municipal and Allied Trade Union (IMATU) is a politically independent trade union operating mainly in the local government sector, with branches in all municipalities throughout South Africa
IMATU’S VISION IS:
To become the union with the largest number of members in the local government industry
To be recognised as the union that has the most influence in the industry
To be recognised by Government and world wide as the organisation that has the most influence in the local government industry
