Worst experience and service. Upon check in, the service advisor was having a nice chat with a buddy and exchanging numbers whilst leaving myself standing like a fool and obviously not doing what he is assigned to do. The adjacent service advisor assisted 3 cars in the interim upon where I requested her to assist me as well. It then took them 2 days, and twice where I left messages that wasn't returned , to let me know that it is only the battery that is the problem. I have booked in advance as well.
Completely and utterly disappointed in this dealership and Toyota brand as a whole. I bought a car at the used car section and had the worst experience from point get go. All started with not getting any proper feedback if my documents were approved or not. Trying to get hold of reception and the salesman both was a constant struggle. Finally when I did get hold of the salesman asking if theres any feedback as to where I stand, all I received is "theres no answers as yet". I felt like a burden having to follow up constantly by the off attitude I was receiving, even though I was promised to get feedback. When I heard Im approved and busy finalising the deal, it came out the salesman never sent the banking details to transfer my deposit into, I only received it 45 minutes after the finance lady assisted me, past 1pm. The lack of emotion, entusiasm or customer care received from the salesman stunned me day in and day out having a 'its your problem, not mine' attitude. When I finally received the car the headlight bulb was blown for the cars brights, there was also a rattle in the door. I had to take the car in on my own time and own expense to be able that they can fix it...but it was never fixed, a bulb had to be ordered and the car has to be booked in for between 1 and 2 days for the rattle in the door, which feedback I got seems to be a bolt or two loose on the window mechanism. A day or 2 with extra transport fees out my own pocket, excluding my expense taking the car in the previous 2 times. I had to follow up on number plates and lisence discs to be told it hasnt arrived yet, 15 minutes later I received a Whatsapp that it was in fact actually there. I had to go Saturday to receive it, only to find out the plates are the wrong lisence numbers, which makes me wonder what quality inspection at bare minimum is done for customers to provide correct products. I understand number plates being wrong is an accidemt not cause by the dealership. But it wouldve helped to know before driving all the way there. Worst part is I had to notice its the wrong number, the salesman didnt even pick it up. Then all I got was that I need to wait longer to receive it, with no emotion or apologeticness. Twice going to the dealership at my own time and expense just to get nowhere, all I did receive is the salesman asking that I give him a good review as he is new and will be fired if I give a bad one, which firstly i do not feel you ask a customer to be forced to do, and secondly I wouldnt mind, but then actually provide basic customer care service to customers. A complete trainwreck experience, really taking the excitement out of purchasing a new car. I would give a 5 star rating to the finance lady, going above and beyond getting the best deal for me that suits me best with the best benefits and leading each step of the way in the right direction. As for the salesman being the face of the company aswell I would give a minus 5 star.
I am appalled at the truly dissapointing service provided by Imperial Toyota Kempton Park. I had put down a R100 000 deposit for a Opel vehicle in March 2022. Sadly, the dealer had provided the vehicle without the updated license disk as well as check engine light that had come on repeatedly. Not so much as month after purchasing the vehicle, there was a burst water pipe. Shortly after that there was a hole in the water bottle. Fast forward several months I had attempted to renew the license disk that was outstanding. Only to find the dealer had completed the road worthy and license and never provided it. Upon notifying the dealer they had offered to complete the license disk and roadworthy on their own account. I for one welcomed the prospect as I am a strong believer in being given the opportunity to right our mistakes. The vehicle came back with an oil leak and no license plates. This in the December period no less, they also had the gall to advise I was to repair the oil leak on the vehicle before within 14 days. This was of course impossible due to the limited number of companies open over the Christmas period. None the less I had opted to repair the oil leak and on the morning of the 25th of January was advised the dealer no longer had any interest in completing the road worthy and license due the the 14 days having elapsed. Truly a disappointing experience as a first time buyer, if you were to ask me I would recommend quite literally anyone else should you require a vehicle. Furthermore I no longer want the assistance, it is merely a matter of principle that everyone be made aware of how the dealer conducts business.

I have never seen such a big dealership not answer their phones. I have been calling every 15 minutes for the past 2 hours and not once has anyone answered the phone. I simply want to check on a vehicle booked in for service. We even requested the vehicle to be prioritised since it has to be back on the road ASAP. It is passed 15h00 now and nobody has called regarding the vehicle. I cannot trust my fleet with this dealer. I'll go back to McCarthy Edenvale, thank you.
I received good service from Mishack. Even when I had issues with the car he was still able to give me a great after sales service, I'd really recommend him for your next purchase.

I received very poor Service at Toyota Kempton Park. I bought a new Toyota starlet. Car has a vibrating sound, the service desk refused to check it for me with out an appointment or booking. Meanwhile I didn’t want to service or book in the car for faults. I simply was trying to understand if they can check the vibrating noise in the Cabin. Not very happy about their service
