Inversion Flight Academy (IFA) is fully accredited by the South African Civil Aviation Authority. IFA offers the full range of training from ab-initio Private Pilot License (PPL) to Commercial Pilot License (CPL), Night Rating, Instructor and Type Rating as well as groundschool for all subjects (PPL - ATPL)
Inversion Flight Academy (IFA) is situated at Heidelberg Airfield in Gauteng, 40kms from Johannesburg. Heidelberg airfield is a SA-CAA licensed airfield with its own dedicated frequency. The airfield is in excellent condition and is well maintained. There is a main tarred runway and two grass cross-runways. The dedicated General Flying area that we use for training and the HGV V.O.R navigation beacon are only ten minutes flying time away. Circuit training and cross-country navigation flights are easy due to our location.
