For years, we have been concerned about the trend and influx of Chinese products pouring into the country it's bad for a few reasons. We know other people are aware of it and many are supporting local but the majority of consumers need to be educated.
Its one thing to say we only use local but it occurred to us that if we could make this statement, this ethos, part of our identity that would make a big difference. This way, we feel we are informing the consumer before they've even bought our product. And even if they don't get the broader meanings of the statement, it's not made in China, then hopefully at a more subconscious level they will start thinking!
