Chana makes such delicious challah! I love her water challah, which is egg free and made with stoneground flour so it’s more tummy-friendly. I buy a bulk order of small challah loaves and they come individually wrapped for the freezer, which is a great help. Pictured is the small vegan challah loaf. Her cinnamon bulka is also deliiisshhhhh and her pitas are huge and yummy as well.
“Mon” traditional sweet poppyseed paste challah: This was absolutely delicious! Best eaten same day it is baked , BUT makes the most mouthwatering toast! Highly recommended!

Chana’s cinnamon buns are consistently 100% the best thing ever! Our other favorites are her challahs, pita breads and cheese pockets. The sour dough Artisan breads are delicious. We highly recommend Pekarnya Ayana’s bakery.
We have bought many products from Pekarnya-Yana, and they are top-class. Chan's rugelach and cinnamon or chocolate buns are out of this world! The pita breads are the thinest and tastiest I have had in ages. All her products are just as good frozen and defrosted as they are when fresh. Final word - we all LOVE her 100% rye sourdough.
I placed a special order for a Babka with a Poppyseed filling, not on their menu at the time, and Yana's Bakery baked the most delicious Mon Babka. We thoroughly enjoyed it. A Big Thank you!!
Absolutely the best sour dough bread you’ll ever have and I think I’ve had every variety!. Thankfully, we live far away or I’d be unable to resist having it every day! Her sweet treats are also out of this world.
Pekarnya - Yana's bakery is THE best bakery I have ever bought from!! The freshness and taste of the products are unbelievable!! My favourite is the challahs, sourdough bread and cinnamon buns!!
Consistently excellent bakery. The white sourdough is superb, as are the bagels. For those with a sweet tooth, I highly recommend the excellent cinnamon buns and rugelach
