Goals & Objectives
The main objective of the mosque is to act as a religious center for the Muslim community of Primrose Park and its surrounding area. Aside from being a place for performing daily prayers, Jamiya Tus Sabr is also intended to embody the Islamic notion of brotherhood and the unity of mankind. It will foster, on one hand, as an Islamic institution, with emphasis on personal intimacy, moral commitment and social cohesion. On the other hand, it strengthens the social ties between Muslims and the members of other communities, so that Muslims can leave a positive impression on the surrounding society.
Another goal of the Masjid is to increase the public's awareness of Islam. Lectures and workshops are held every now and then at the Masjid and Madrassa Hall to show the reality and integrity of Islam as a divine religion.
