JB Train Tours - Since 1975

We booked the Namaqualand & Boland Tour 01st - 6th September 2019 via JB Tours. We were delayed for 12 hours on the Shosholoza Meyl and lost 1 day of the tour. Contacted JB Tours, CEO was not available and apparently does not talk to clients telephonically. An email was sent and up to date no answer received. Shocking service from the office at JB Tours. They were not interested in our serious complaint. Secondly, my friend's name was booked incorrectly at SAFAIR causing more inconvenience, once again incompetence from JB Tours. I will not recommend this company to anybody. Their arrogance is undesired ! Poor, poor poor!

Booked a train trip to capetown, train were delayed 5 hours on our way there. Ice machine on the shozaloza meyl were not operational, no cold drinks available to buy. We currently on our way back. Again delayed, currently with 3 hours behind schedule. Train has enjun trouble and still no ice. Never again thanks

I was ons the Namibia train tour. No aircon toilets back flushing. Train parked got 3 day in industrail area in Swakopmund. Really bad.

We enjoyed the garden route tour October 2017 tremendously. Guide was very knowledgeable, helpful and kind. Everything was very well organised.

The company closed down in 2020. Used them in the past and they were fantastic. One star given becuase they do not exist anymore.

My and hubby are going on our first tour with J B Tours in December can't wait
