What a disappointment! We stopped for breakfast on route to the Cape and it was awful. The service was slow and after 45 minutes our breakfast had still not arrived! When we finally got our breakfast plate the toast and cutlery had been forgotten. The "bacon" is some sort of meat that is fried but is definitely not bacon. Do not waste your time or money at this restaurant.

The service here is as half-baked as the pancakes. I stopped in on a Sunday morning with family on the way back from a holiday in Cape Town. The restaurant was fairly quiet to begin with as it was still early. We placed orders and waited for our cuppucino's which were sadly pretty tasteless. We ordered three pancakes and a savory pancake. The first two arrived 25 minutes later. One was thick and uncooked in the middle, so we sent it back for a new one. The waitress didn't deal with the request well, she acted as though she'd been caught off-guard. We'd waited ten minutes between the first two arriving and sending back the one - so we asked when the other two dishes would arrive. The waitress ignored us when we asked, and she walked away. Ten minutes later, the savoury pancake arrived and 5 minutes after that, the replacement pancake - without the cream. The final pancake never arrived, despite waiting more than 50 minutes and speaking to the manager who was hardly helpful or apologetic. Tables who had arrived long after us received their food before we did. We paid and left - the food was far from great and the service was even worse. Please do invest in training your staff as to how to deal with customer requests. And make better coffee.

We stopped in for a bite to eat on 20 March 2016 and were we disappointed! First the waitress claimed that there was no Earl Grey tea although it was clearly marked on the menu. Once that had been sorted out we finally ordered after having to attract our waitron's attention. After 50 minutes of no feedback and no food enough was enough and we called it a day, got up and left having seen people who ordered after us receiving their food. Having called for the owner to complain we were met with a "devil may care" attitude. This place won't see us again.

Service terrible and slow, 30 mins for 6 coffees and the coffee tastes like they used one scoop per liter of water, my "cappuccino" was nothing more of the weak filter with some foam on top. The six of us decided to skip eating here.

Walked in at 3:10 pm get something to drink and basically got chased out by the staff saying that they are closing at 4pm they can't serve us. Terrible service

The ambience was good - we like courtyards - but the soggy nuked pies were very disappointing and there was only one, very friendly, waitress to serve everyone and handle the payments

Fantastic dinner. Very good fast service and food very tasteful. Highly recommended.

Lovely coffee shop, that is only coffee shop open on Sunday.

Nice place, service was a bit slow. It could be much better.

Overpriced and burnt coffee- all in all a disappointing experience.
