I found the consular services staff to be welcoming, helpful & efficient. The waiting area is comfortable & a great improvement from the prior arrangements.

They are really helpful; I have visited the commission for about 5 times and was never dissatisfied. Last visit there was some hiccup; system off-line, but with so they never gave up; they even encouraged us to wait... Well done Stuff!!

Effecient service: the welcoming security ladies, Mama South Africa administrator...she's kind, I thought she was Dhuluo! Immigration department very helpful.

Love it!!! Super friendly and helpful staff. Very willing to give advice and assist wherever they can. Something to note, carry two copies of everything it helps everyone out.

Difficult to contact telephonically.however the one time it mattered it was answered promptly. Was stuck in traffic following an accident on the N1 highway.could only get to the embassy 45 min after closing hours . Explained the situation having travelled from JHB . Was told would wait for me to hand me my documents.felt special . Found staff in passport visa section friendly and welcoming . Always had a smile . Went an extra mile to get things done. A pleasant experience. Unlike visits to other embassies.

The services are excellent. The people are full of love. You really feel at home. Let's keep up the spirit of Ubuntu. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Yes we can do it.

The 1star left out is coz of telephone services is poor,they don’t answer phone calls or it directs you to voice mail it’s frustrating esp when one needs information before traveling all the way to Pretoria.Otherwise the Service was nice en fast.

Im trying to get a passport via ecitzen but the systems not recoginsing my SA phone num so been phoning the embassy no response.im just going to take my papers and go and sit there till they help me.

I have been for the last 2 weeks trying to phone to see if they received my proof of payment via email for my id application. Other than to get in my car and drive to petoria from Johannesburg. Because either they dont pick or it tells you the lines busy or i get a crackle noice.Really i just want to cry so frustrated

It was hard to find this place. There's a lot of construction around it and seems like just one window open to people to get assistance but staff were very friendly and willing to help. The fact that you have to check your phone in at the security was a little weird. So obviously no photos of the place.
