What do we do?
- We focus on language and cognitive enrichment learner support.
- We run classes on a weekly basis (three terms) as an extra mural during school time.
- We take a maximum of 7 children per class to ensure that we run lessons that provide sufficient individual attention.
- Classes run for 30 minutes.
- We go to schools with our exciting games and necessary equipment.
- Our themes coincide with the school so as to reinforce what is being taught in the children's day to day classroom environment.
- Classes are run by qualified; certified; trained teachers who have experience working in a teaching environment.
What vital skills do we develop?
- Thinking and problem solving skills
- Improving auditory; visual and perceptive processing
- Expressing emotions appropriately and promoting self-confidence
- Building language through sensory play
- Expanding receptive vocabulary
- Receptive and expressive language
- Sentence construction
- Listening skills and following directions
- Numeral and sight word recognition (age dependant).
While achieving the above, learners also get the opportunity to refine their fine motor; gross motor and their co-ordination skills as well as crossing their midline.

Kidi Talk aims to prevent these deficits and support optimal language and communication development. This is achieved through child-led; group-based learning activities.
