qualified workforce. To this end, Masiqhame Trading 81cc/FABRICON, under
the directorship of Selwin and Chantell Swartz has risen to take up this
challenge through the acquisition of Kims Welding School.

The following MERSETA aligned courses are offered:

1. Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) - 10 Working Days
2. Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) - 10 Working Days
Stick on Plate and Stick on Pipe
3. CO2 Metal Inert Gas Welding (MIG) - 5 Working Days
4. Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) - 5 Working Days
5. Stainless Steel (Argon Welders Only) - 5 Working Days
6. Stick (Plate) - 5 Working Days

On completion of the GTAW and SMAW courses, learners are given the option of welding to FABRICON code and having their test piece sent for non-destructive testing (NDT) whereupon an ASME IX certification would be issued by a unit of inspection with SABS Accreditation and International Status. Learners are also issued with free personal protective equipment (PPE) except for boots.
In addition to the above, the following courses are also rendered:

Trade Test Preparations
Welding Theory lessons (N2 Equivalent)

We shall strive to satisfy all learners by being consistent and continually improving our Quality Management System.In fulfillment of this policy MASIQHME TRADING 81 CC. shall ensure that training is provided to meet their intended purpose and performance criteria in accordance with industry requirements.All courses offered will be quality assured by the Metal and Engineering Industries and Related Services Sector Education Training Authorities MERSETA Learner, Education, Training and Quality Assurance LETQA division. Courses will therefore fall within the National Qualifications Framework NQF and in accordance with the South African Qualifications Authority SAQA requirements."
