Klipdraai Wedding & Conference Venue

Visited in March 2022 and had an excellent weekend - 3/4 stars. Went now for a weekend in December 2023 and it was my worst camp experience ever!!! The noise levels of a large group of alcoholic guests was allowed to go on to 2 am for 2 nights in a row. Also they booked our stands on a slope right under a floodlight next to the bathrooms - in spite of the fact that the place was mostly dead quiet. Won't ever return.

This establishment is under new management and unfortunately the staff in the office was not so friendly as one would expect, I heard that the day visitors was also very expensive and most complained while I was waiting my turn in the office. The water slides was placed right behind our camping site and every time they qould shut down these rides the water would run onto our camping site and ruin our camping area including the tents and sitting area. When we complained to the guys operating the slides they did absolutely nothing regarding our complaint, the constant noise of the fan motors running was so annoying and a big inconvenience. There was a major incident at the pool where a 5 year old girl actually drowned because she had no pulse or heart beat when she was taken out the water after she allegedly slipt on the steps and fell into the water unconscious until someone found he minutes later....no life guard at pool or someone keeping a eye . To top it all this establishment had no trained medics or someone able to do CPR on the premises. Fortunately amongst the campers someone arrived and saved the girls life....joint effort with the person finding her under water and someone trying ro help by giving CPR until proper care could be given ro save her life. Plus point is that the camp sites was always kept neat and clean and the toilets kept clean. I could recommend this establishment although they could better their services and move the water slides to a more appropriate area so to prevent flooding of the camp sistes.

Excellent day out at the Day Visitors section. Thoroughly enjoyed being able to swim in this heat, but more so enjoy the families and kiddies and friends all being able to get together and laugh and swim and eat. Would highly recommend this place to anyone!

One of those little hidden treasures where you don't expect it. Friendly staff, extremely clean facilities and well looked after camping ground. Day visitors or just a quick weekend getaway. Well worth travel if coming from afar. Grounds are neat and kept up.

This was my 4th camping experience there and yet again was it the most amazing experience those last two stands k208/k209 remains my favorite stands for camping. Had the opportunity to get engaged on the deck which such a pretty view. This is by far my favorite camping place and not even to say it's only an hour's drive from home and the staff is always friendly. The trip to Bloufontein Wildpark was also an amazing experience and will surely be visiting it again. Nearby activities: Amazing wildlife experience when you book a drive to Bloufontein Wildlife Safety: Your very safe there never had any issues with theft or people invading your stands

Nice facilities, well kept and maintained, and a lot to do for the kids. My biggest issue is that there is no enforcement done on noise, campers and visitors carry on with very loud music and shouting until very late, and there is nothing done to stop thatRooms: 3/5

Totally rediculous high tarrif for utterly mediocre camping site. Noisy construction at the pool and still had to pay R450 per night.... Midweek with a totally empty park. What for? Not even hand paper towels or toilet paper in the bathrooms. Couldn't even make use of the heated pool.... Sorry oom Gielie but it's clear that you don't need the pensioner's business

My booking for a stand that was allocated to me was just changed with no proper reasoning, i emaild bookings but the lady Chantel replied after 4th email just said they changed my stand number to something else think i will rather cancelService: 1/5
