Thoroughly enjoyed the Rand Easter Show in Nasrec. Always doubted this place but everything was so well organized. Highlight here was the cheapest helicopter ride one can get and the full on demo of the army and special forces.
The event was well organized, with ample parking available at R30. The entrance fee of R95pp is not bad for a day out. There are many things to see, including car shows, dog shows, live music, and more. You can also have a look at military, police, metro, and firefighter equipment and vehicles, which is quite interesting. There are a lot of shopping stalls ranging from food and sweet products to scented candles, clothing, and a whole lot more. There are challenges and games to participate in for prizes, like the timed hanging challenge, the eating marie buiscuits challenges, and more. There are also a few informative stalls at the public services hall. Could have done with a bit more seating space at the bar/drinking areas. Very interesting day for us at the rand show.
Had an absolute blast at Ultra2023. Just a side note, not the safest of places to park a car. All in all, great experience at the venue.
It's family friendly, and there's so much fun you can have and a lot to do. So much food. It's really a great experience
Nice Day away from our regular day of work. Enjoyed the Sandf display all the different vehicles. Classic cars on display. Fun day had by all.
First time at Comic Con! Was definitely a great experience! Food lines though - not so great lengthy lines in the blistering heat / not many vegan or veg options - can be improved. Apart from this, it was amazing to see such vast talent and creatives under one roof.. the cosplay was 100%! Also got to see a few beautifully wrapped 86's which were definite show stoppers
Comic Con Africa was a blast had lots of fun with plenty food vendors. The only let down was i don't think they were prepared for the amount of people that turned up this year. Would love to se more dust bins, cleaning crew and seating on the outside next time. Would also have loved some cooling units in the hallways or exhibition areas it was a hot day and little to no air flow inside.
Halls are big enough to accommodate large number of people
Every time I'm here , especially during the last day preparations of the Rand Show, the thrill in my heart jumps out like I'm a little child. I have so much passion for Event planning and coordinating, especially JUST the feeling of being behind the scenes, it's an unforgettable feeling I promise you. I always come for meetings but when I get here I wish I could join the crew in preparing Okay on a more serious note besides that; this place is always neat, and the landscaping is beautiful and neat all the time. Receptionist at the Expo Center is such a darling, and my deepest condolences to her for the loss of her son
Had a good day out at the classic car show yesterday. The food stalls was just very crowded. But was worth of the R80 entrance fee.
