They came highly recommended, but my experience wasn't good. Took my car for an alignment, when I got there it seemed like it was an inconvenience because one team wanted the other to see to me and visa versa. When assessing my car they said they couldn't help as the rear control arm is bend. I found it hard to believe as a control arm is made of thick material, and the vehicle hasn't been in an accident. Anyway I took it for a second opinion to their competitors and they sorted it out. It just needed adjusting and now the cat is running perfectly and the alignment is spot on. I guest the technicians and KoeniC didn't want to get their hands dirty. Their competitors have won my return business.

R6000 Poor service experience at Nick Koen Alignment Centre Brentwood . On 23 December 2022 I got a quote from Nick Koen Alignment Centre Brentwood for the replacement of 4 shock absorbers and upper shock mounting bearings on my VW Polo 1.6 sedan. A prompt payment of R5344.80 was made for the work to be carried out the next day. At 08.00 on 23 December the car was left at the workshop for the work to be carried out. At 13.00 after 5 hours, which I thought was a reasonable time for the completion of the work I went back to the branch to find that the car was not ready yet, in fact, it was nowhere to be seen. After enquiring, the workshop manager made a call somewhere asking about progress and then saying that the car was not ready and that I must come back later. No explanation given. At 17.00 I went back. The car was now on a lift in the workshop to replace the bushes on the front suspension control arms. Then I was told that this work was not included in the original quote and a further R850.00 had to be paid. At 17.30, 9.50hrs later, with no further checks or test drives the work was said to be completed and the car was ready. On 25 December 2022 Christmas Day we left home in the car to spend the day with friends. At about 1 km from home a terrible squeaking noise developed from the front suspension area and with a violent jerk on the steering wheel the car veered off to the left and off the road. I stopped the car and slowly pulled away again but had to pull hard on the steering wheel to keep the car to go straight and immediately decided to drive back home, where we had to make alternative transport arrangements with a friend causing a great inconvenience to him. At home I had a quick look underneath the car in the front suspension area to see if there were any sign of a failure and immediately noticed that the front mounting bolt on the left suspension control arm was loose. I could turn it with my fingers. On 3rd January 2023 at 08.00, I took the car back to the Brentwood branch explaining what happened and pointing out the loose bolt. A check was done by the workshop foreman and it quickly became clear to me that the wrong length bolt was fitted to the control arm front mounting position. The bolt that was fitted there was not long enough to reach the threads into which it was supposed screw into. The technician who did the work in the first place must have realised that but decided to leave it like that and just keep quiet. However fixing this did not solve the problem with the pulling to the left and I was told to leave the car as the left front shock absorber must be removed again for checking. At 13.00 I went back hoping that the car would then be fixed, The workshop foreman then told me that his technicians did not turn up for work that day and that a tire fitter unskilled?? was now working on the suspension of my car. At 16.00 the car was eventually ready. 17.50 hrs work for the replacement of 4 shock absorbers!!. The keys were handed to me without so much as an explanation as to what went wrong or even an apology for the inconvenience caused. My questions as to whether the car was taken for a test drive and the problem resolved, was answered with a blunt “Yes” Good money was paid for shoddy substandard work, no quality control or pride in workmanship. Needless to say that I will never again take a vehicle of mine to any Nick Koen Franchise or recommend them to anybody.

I have been taking my car to Koenic for the last 4 years and every time I walk out with a smile on my face. Excellent service and cheap

Great service. Went in for tyres and they sorted me out and did a curiosity check on my vehicle. All staff were friendly. Was in and out super quick did not have to wait around. Recommended them big time
