Absolutely shocking, No stock of fish, fish food is limited, No pumps, filters, UV globes, Really badly run at present. No staff to assist. Looks like the ANC have got their hands in there, and on top of everything else, the road is poor too.
Changing my review as Koialami has been progressively getting worse and worse and I won't be using them again. They give quotes on whatsapp and then charge more when you go to collect. They say they will order products but never do and never contact you with the info they say they are going to. I asked them for help to test my water. Was told to bring it in and someone can help in store. No one was available and I was told to leave it. I argued they never bother coming back to me and they assured me someone would come back to me. I'm still waiting a few days later despite sending messages to ask which have been read and ignored. They do not keep much stock on the shelves any more and the last few times I've gone don't have a basic item I need. The road to access them has basically washed away and they don't warn you when you saying your going. The women in store can be very unfriendly and unhelpful should you catch her on a bad day. In general it's just not a pleasant experience all around these days.
Very disappointed. There after sales service is atrocious! They installed a koi pond pump & filtration system for me. The pump died within a few months. They then supplied another pump at twice the price. Reason being... its a better quality & can be easily repaired or replaced if something goes wrong as it's locally manufactured... R2850 later! Now that it has failed in less than 6 months, they don't return or answer the phone, stopped communicating completely! I would suggest avoiding these guys completely!
With so little koi farms around anymore this one doesn't really stand out. Seems a bit run down and location not great. Situated right at the end of a dirt road drive with caution and no clear signage on route. It was however clean and the fish are in good condition and reasonable priced.
Fish are beautiful and staff very knowledgeable. Seem to know what's going on. Stock of fish is just very low at the moment.
Go there and find out everything about fish and nice fish pond building
Have you tried to communicate with Koialami??? They don't answer and when they do the person on the other end does is not able to help you. I have tried numerous times over many months so current lock down level not an excuse. I have given up and will buy my fish elsewhere.
Very knowledgable and good customer service. Highly recommended if you need Koi advice or help.
Good variety and excellent quality and breed of Koi. Stuart the owner is super helpful. They also have tilapia, gold fish, cat fish. He also builds the most amazing ponds and pools. Sells medication, test kits, nets, food, equipment and accessories & materials. Great place.
Good selection of well priced fish. From really inexpensive to fairly pricey. Very knowledgeable and helpful guy helped us choose the right fish for our pond.
