Our main aim at the school is to create a learning environment which is happy and full of exciting discoveries, where each child is allowed the freedom to develop an individual work-rhythm. Our classes are limited to twelve children per class: the ratio of qualified teacher to pupil is 1:12, while the staff to pupil ratio is 1:5. These ratios ensure individual attention which in turn, accelerates learning. Our children are thoroughly prepared for future learning.
A foundation will thus be built in your child’s early years which will prepare him/her for a life of self-directed learning resulting in meaningful work in the world.

At Treetops Montessori we believe that every child that comes into our care will be treated with love, respect and kindness. By allowing our children to work at their own pace and guiding them through the curriculum, we inspire our children to develop independence and a true love of learning and create a solid grounding for life.
The Montessori system of education is based on the child’s developmental need for freedom within limits in a carefully prepared environment that guarantees exposure to the materials and experiences, aimed at developing their intelligence and physical and psychological abilities. The children are given concrete and meaningful experiences in five main areas, Practical life (teaches life skills), Language (teaches them to listen, read, and write), Sensorial and Maths (for intellect and numeracy), Culture (teaches cosmic education).
