it seems that the Kruger is very healthy with abundance of life. the accommodation was very clean in all the rest camps and the staff was exceptional. from all the SANparks that we have visited, this one is by far the best managed park. was such a nice place to visit and highly recommend it to everyone. thank you Kruger for giving us an unforgettable experience.
The Kruger National is basically a big lucky packet, you might be able to see more than we did, but we unfortunately didn't see any big cats or wild dogs. We only saw elephants and a whole lot of impala. It was a good experience though.
As always, exceptional experience in most rest camps and trails. Animals seem very healthy. Trading posts are a bit expensive for the every day South African so bring enough food and clothing and get souvenirs from the trading posts. Overall , most staff are friendly , courteous and helpful. Enjoy every sunset, every day!
If you are a local, you'll keep coming back. If not, you'll definitely want to. The Sanparks do a great job with accommodations and the thrill of being able to spot a magnificent being in the wild is unending.
Amazing place. Go out of season when no public holidays is my advice. Such a variety of landscapes from North to South. Love the rest spots. Lower Sabie, Olifants etc. Views and food amazing. If you have never been, make the effort, you won't regret it
What to say about this amazing national park that gathers all kind of impressive wild animals… we could see leopards, lions, giraffes, many elephants, etc… the scenery is also incredible. Do not miss it.
Kruger National Park is an absolutely incredible destination that is definitely worth visiting! Located in the heart of South Africa, this park boasts breathtaking scenery and an incredible array of wildlife that is sure to leave visitors in awe. One of the main highlights of Kruger National Park is its incredible diversity. Home to the Big Five lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffalo, this park is also home to a huge number of other species, including giraffes, zebras, hyenas, and a huge variety of birds. Whether you're a wildlife enthusiast or just looking to connect with nature, you're sure to find something that captures your interest! Another great thing about Kruger National Park is the range of activities on offer. From guided game drives and bush walks to night drives and birding tours, there are endless ways to explore this stunning wilderness area. There are also a number of great camps and lodges within the park, offering comfortable accommodation and excellent food. Overall is a good experience however, we have been on safari’s on private properties that have a lot of animal hunting is forbidden and was a much better experience as we could drove off the roads and properly see the animals. Therefore, if you have an option to go in private safaris, I believe would be much better than going to the park.
Kruger park was definitely the highlight of our South Africa trip, we had the chance to see so many gorgeous animals wandering around ! Sunset safari was definitely the highlight because the lighting was just perfect for pictures and there was something magical in the air with the sunset behind animals ! We haven’t had the chance to see a total big five, lions were shy when we were there :- but we saw so many animals that it doesn’t matter ! We had the chance to be alone with our guide for most of our safaris by luck… but going back we would definitely make sure to pay extra for it to be like this again !
Located in the northern region of South Africa and well renowned for its ferocious lion population, this place offers good sightings of African wild animals and it will be felt as a great place for anyone not visited africa earlier to experience wildlife safari. Usually, I do not compare places but I had high expectations from this national park especially with sightings of lions after my first safari at Masai Mara Kenya but honestly this place did not meet my expectations in comparison with Masai Mara as we were just able to see a single pride of lions with less sightings of other animals. Masai Mara was altogether an amazing world full of flora and fauna but I felt Kruger National Park as a concrete jungle with very few sightings of lions and other animals. Saying that I do not end up in a conclusion as we just visited Numbi and Phabeni Gate so the remaining park is still unexplored and the offerings are never known. I would highly recommend Masai Mara to anyone who just wants to experience one African safari in their lifetime because Kruger NP is not even 50 percent to what was experienced in Masai Mara. Overall a great experience as I always love to visit national parks across the world and the whole group loved the Giraffe sightings at this Park & the lions looks more ferocious than any other place.
Amazing place. Hotel selection is important. If you stay out of the park and just want to come for a drive, you need to know that the park has opening and closing times. So you won’t be in the park in the best times. Only the ones who stays in the park can make drives at sunrise and sunset times. Drive realy slow and carefully an impala can jump from anywhere They check the cars inside and trunk while leaving the park. Probably to see if you are taking an animal Obey the rules
