This location was not willing to do a refund. Beware of this salon before making any purchases as they will not do a refund even if they make a mistake. We called to see prices for an all over hair treatment for this salon to decide if we want to go or not. The person on the phone said that this service will cost $62 referencing to us the price of this service on the website. When we get there, I ask again how much it will cost, then they say it will cost a bit more due to hair length. When all was finished, we got a surprise add to the bill of an extra $35 just to blow dry the hair. We asked twice how much the service was and yet this was never disclosed. The stylist never asked if the hair should be dried and/or that drying the hair is a separate service and that it would cost 35$. We assumed that drying is part of the original color treatment service. When calling back 4 times, the attendant 6/27 said that they will not do a refund as drying hair is separate. I expressed that this was not transparent and it was not disclosed despite asking several times what our cost would be for the appt. She still refused to refund and just said sorry, that is how it is. Very poor service and would recommend all to pick an ethical salon that is transparent and/or willing to guarantee a good experience and refund if they make a mistake.

I have been going to Kaja Adrian for several years now. She always knows how to work well with my hair and can take something that I hope for and turn it into exactly what I want! Her knowledge of hair chemistry, etc. and the products my hair needs has been so helpful and I'm so grateful for her! She's seen my hair go through so many transformations 2 babies later, lots of hair loss and regrowth, coloring, root color, etc. and has always done a phenomenal job. I've been going to KTS for a couple years now. I've always seen Fallon and she is very good. I don't color so it's just cut and style but I always look great when I leave there. Whether I'm going layers or no layers, shorter for the summer, bangs or no bangs, she listens to what I want and I've never left not liking my new style.

Kaja did such a beautiful job on my cut and balayage. She carefully thought out and planned every step and she is as sweet as can be! A little pricey but you DO get what you pay for. The environment was so clean and comfortable and the whole staff was very nice.

Horrible experience twice! I will never go there again they destroyed my hair. I asked for highlights she damanded doing color on my roots. My hair was blonde. She turned it orange. I went back and all they did was tone it again and charged me. The manager never called me back. She is extremely rude. Go to beehive in Roanoke a million times better!!!Service: Hair coloring

KENDALL IS AMAZING! I always wanted to find someone who could work my hair and help me keep it moisturized and healthy; she does that and more! I will always go to Kendall for my hair and my kids hair too. I have bi-racial hair and I was very weary of others working on it. She always explains what she's doing and gives me suggestions as to style it, work with the curls and gives me guides to my hair. Today, I got baylayage done on it for the first time EVER! I was super nervous at first but it came out great and Kendall gave me exactly what I wanted.

It was great & for $300 it should be. I would recommend you ask what the price is as you go...I was expecting $200 just based on the prices they had online; it surprises me the stylist wouldn't ask before she just did all these extras without telling you they are not included. Live & learn...but I will definitely be discussing price before anything is done.

Went here for the first time in May. Kelly did my highlights and cut. She did an awesome job! I love my hair. She recommended some hair products to make my hair stronger and healthier and they have been working great. They are very attentive to your needs and listen! I even got a follow up call a week after my appointment to make sure I liked my hair. This place rocks!!!

KTS Hair Studio is an absolute gem and perfect for men, women and kids. Great stylists, especially Emily. I judge a great cut by the fact it looks good even if I don't style it but let it dry on its own - way to go Emily! Great atmosphere with warm and friendly staff. The owner, Kevin, makes sure everyone is well taken care of, both staff and employees. I know he provides employees with regular opportunities to learn latest cut and color techniques. I highly recommend this salon.
