Poor billing. Before I started this review , I looked at the existing reviews and found that this company has a common billing problem of handing accounts over for debt collection without having the decency and fulfilling their legal obligation of sending a single invoice to the client. It is no surprise that my doctor asked me not to go to Lab24. But his concern was undue delay in test results. Now add billing to the problem. Managed to get hold of them telephonically after numerous days of not answering their phone. But they did admit that they have a problem and apologized for their inefficiency.
I got an SMS from debt collection agency for an outstanding account. I don't know when and what service was rendered. I called Lab24 on Monday 29th August 2022. The lady that took my details promised that someone would call me back. Still waiting for their call.
This is the most useless lab. They are thieves!! I get a message regarding an account for 2020 for a COVID test done. First, they said sorry it was for another person; the following message was that it was mine!!!!! I am on GEMS, and when you go for a test, you fill out the form. They had particulars of mine that were from 2007!!!!!!!!! I am appalled at their service.
Absolute pathetic service never received any notification or bills for 2019 and now we receive a call in 2022 that account is handed over. Telephone lines are never answered so cannot query account. I will never use lab 24 and hope u guys catch a wake and become more efficient or u might not be around for long.
my mom did a blood test in 2018 and paid cash.they handed her over to the debt collector,which she paid extra.we gave them the proof that the test was paid in cash.they said they will refund the money on monday.its day 3 and they didn't refund.we didn't give them any medical aid details because she was paying cash.but they sent it to medical aid.it doesn't make sense....
Hi I am very disappointed with the way your accounts department handled my account I get a call from vericredit for an account in 2017 and no one from your side called me to tell me i owed you money this is a terrible way to find out very disappointed will not use your service again
