Laser Hair Removal
We use the Diode Laser System. The laser light penetrates the skin and is absorbed by the melanin (pigment) found in the hair shaft. This raises the temperate to a sufficient level to destroy the targeted hair structures, thus preventing hair re-growth (in other words the hair follicle is destroyed without damaging or burning the skin). The Diode Laser system's cooling is provided by a cooling tip, cooling the surrounding epidermis and thereby minimizing collateral epidermal damage caused by light absorption by pigment in the epidermis. (In other words the hair follicle is destroyed without damaging the skin).
