I bought a property. It took a year to get, granted, it wasn't the agency's fault, however, their customer service was the problem. I had to constantly call after them. Seeking updates. The one agent always said he'd get back to me and never did. The other agent always spoke over you, never actually answering your question. In December 2021, I received a call saying the property will be ready end of January beginning of Feb latest. Naturally, I informed my landlords. By May, still nothing. Landlords wanting me out. I left messages for both agents, pleading I need answers - no help. One ignored me. One told me to be patient. I'm about to be homeless, excuse me ? It cost me going to the lawyers of the property myself for answers. When the property was finally in my name, do you think they dropped off the keys or informed me about the property ? NO. They leave my keys at Woolfies. Keys with someone I don't know. They fail to tell me about the active alarm system. When I open up the house - the alarm system goes off. The one agent says he doesn't have the code. The other laughs saying, "Just ignore the alarm. It's a happy sound. You've got the house." How unprofessional?!?!?!?! A key was missing. I called the agent, "Can't you just call someone". Thank you for the R950 call out fee because you as the agent didn't check to make sure you had all keys! I hope to never ever have to work with them again, most painful, unhelpful and unprofessional experience.
