From the rooms with such homely attention to detail, to the perfectly manicured garden and serene ambience, to the lovingly made breakfast..what more could we ask for. Great place, hosts and staff. This family establishment is set in tranquil gardens, where only songbirds are heard, and makes this an ideal stay, especially before travelling. The antiquated designs found throughout the place takes one back in time to the aroma of freshly ground coffee brewing, and home-made breads & jam. The neatness and cleanliness of the gardens, the dining area and the rooms, guarantees another visit. The helpful and pleasant staff make the stay all the more pleasurable.
It's a lovely setting. The honesty bar is great and let's you play bartender. Wish they had a safe in the room and also shampoo/conditioner in the room. Were very attentive to us during breakfast. The fruit salad was from a can though and wish there was mushrooms.
Breathtakingly beautiful garden. Always immaculate, in any season. Food is yummy Serving meals requires streamlining. Drinks service and self-service is a challenge. Bar supply can't keep up with demand. I still recommend this picturesque venue for food quality and ambiance.
