Lions Lodge Pinetown

We book a family room for the arrival of 23 December upon arrival the owner was shocked that we were there and said he was not expecting us on top of that the rooms were a total opposite of what we agreed upon too small no privacy at all as we were travelling with kids and unfortunately we already paid the deposit he literally refused to refund us because we told because we gonna be staying for 8 nights this room won't work for us well the old man went back and forth refusing to refund us and have a fake document cancellation policy which it was never discussed with he ended up refunding us 50 % how greedy knowing very well that we travelled 12hours from the Northen Cape that was unpleasant and I'm not willing to ever let this go I'm taking it further he took advantage of us and we had beg for our money Ohhh and not forgetting the rooms stinks like nobody's business like he said he was not expecting us I guess no room was prepared for us he just took a chance and pointed a room that was not freshened up how pathetic I WONT RECOMMEND THUS PLACE TO ANYONE it is not designed to be a logde or bnb it's just a old home for old people who are making money out of people desperately in need of warm and comfortable accommodation.

My family and I stopped here for a few days during our holiday. The owners are very friendly. It was great to have a swimming pool in the summer season! Kids loved it!

As a company made a booking -knowing there was recent floods the owners neglected/chose to NOT advise us that the water supply was interrupted. If this information was shared I could have made an informed decision NOT to make use of the lodge.As a consumer I have to right to decide for myself however the owners thought I had to understand.Bad business practice and unethical Staff had to heat water and wash from basins..

Wonderful place to stay over. The staff were very friendly, the room was beautifully neat and comfortable. I will definitely come back again, thank you!

I got a quote and repeatedly asked for an invoice which would provide banking details for two weeks, to which my responses finally was: we are fully booked. I was appalled!Service: 1/5

Cheap accomodation to stay for a night. The room was neat and the host very friendly. It is perfect for contractors or a business trip.
