We had water problems in the room called Banyan over the weekend. On the first morning we had to shower in the room opposite ours because there was no water in our room. The second morning was better, however we had the same problem on the last morning after they said the resolved the problem after we first reported the issue. The breakfast and the ladies that served us were good.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Lodge on Main in PE is the most wonderful place to stay. Hanri and his staff are superb, friendly, efficient and like family. The breakfast is delicious, the rooms are beautiful, clean and spacious. For one night or a long stay, there is no better place. And the conferencing facilities are excellent. Thank you Lodge on Main, as always, you have made my stay here a memorable one!

Great location. Lots of Eateries, within walking distance. Very clean. The room was a nice size. Secure off-road parking. Decor really lovely, layout of the Bar, dining area and veranda area very tasteful.
Great experience. Classic style with old world charm. Enjoyed breakfast which was made to order. Loved the decor! Spacious room with good bathroom lighting. Will go again.
Everything I needed was there and available. Lovely, appealing , refreshing decor and imaginative furnishings. Convenient location. Secure parking. Excellent service. more than adequate breakfast. Spacious rooms, nice to have bath and shower options. Comfortable bed. Would love to return.
This is a humbly looking establishment that offers way more than one would except, with secure parking and front that has a beautiful swimming pool, going up there are steps with a nice fancy wooden rail and obviously they didn't forget wheel chair access. I'm lucky to have witnessed the beauty of this place, stayed there with our models and hosted us for 5 days and I left a happy person the staff was such a delight to be around and every morning their breakfast was on point and served with love, after our breakfast we'd hang around the pool area and their outdoors chairs were quite fancy or rather are fancy for those that drink don't feel left out there is a nice bar there for you and nice leather couches, long story short the place is beautiful with great stuff and just an addition the owner is so friendly and takes time to check up on Guests even us who came as a group he'd ask how our stay was and all, lastly he is a very nice and patient person I went for a swim at 1am made so much noise in my defence I wasn't drunk I don't drink but had worked all day and I didn't realise what time it was so I assumed it was a little after 10pm but alas it wasn't but all he did was come out and say, "My guy its 1am please consider others" paraphrased but the message is the same. Thank you so much and had a great time next time I'm in Port Elizabeth I know where I am staying, don't take my word for it try it.
Beautiful guest house. We contacted the host at the last minute after a booking we made at another place got cancelled, and he responded promptly. Hospitality is top-notch and the staff are courteous.
Great venue, comfy bed... only issue is the shower pressure - 1mm in one direction and you either get ice cold or piping hot.
