Came from Galveston Texas to experience Pine Tree Lodge for our 6th wedding anniversary! So worth the trip! Great patio! Comfy chairs and our own cooler which kept us dry on this hot and muggy day! Turtles and alligators swim in the water right off the deck! Food and drinks were yummy and the live music was too notch! Hannah, our server, took great care of us for hours while we hung out and made new friends!
This is the best place, hidden off the beaten path! Everything was excellent!! Food was cooked to perfection!! We started with drinks, which was so good!! Then appetizers, the Catfish Bites will melt in your mouth!! They came with the best hushpuppies ever!! The gumbo...was scrumptious!! Later we ordered the Blackened Red Snapper on a bed of dirty rice!! Yummy! Our friends ordered the Seafood Sampler...next time that's what we're getting!! Lol Staff is very friendly and helpful. An excellent place to have a meal...right on the Bayou!!
If you haven't been, you need to go!!! Especially if you have kid's, and like to have a good time!!! Our baby didn't know if he wanted to feed the gator's, and turtles or dance to the live Zydeco band. Soooo he did it ALL!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: YesCurbside pickup: Yes
4 of us ate lunch there on Thursday about 1:30. Plenty of parking, not busy at all. Excellent service from Nicholas H. Apps and food came out quickly. Catfish bites and Boudain balls were great. The fried shrimp and fried oysters were tasty & perfectly fried. The sauteed shrimp with peppers & onions was delicious. Desserts of banana pudding & peach cobbler were a hit.....huge portion, share with another! We will definitely be back, & highly recommend. Would love to come on an evening with a live band.
Great food, attentive service. Fantastic outdoor dining and that atmosphere on the bayou is the best!!!
I had the seafood pasta and fried oysters, and they were really good but a bit expensive. My grandparents liked what they ordered as well. I also got one of their mimosas, but it was a different flavor than the typical orange mimosas can’t remember exactly which flavor. It was waaaaayy too strong to where I could taste too much of the alcohol. It was really difficult to finish it. I didn’t expect that from a fruity drink. The server that we had was really sweet, helpful, and attentive. Overall, I would say it’s a good place to eat though and I would return.
What an awesome place!! Sets on the river… outside decks …. Live Band…Excellent food!!…the staff was super!! Great atmosphere! We will definitely be going back. You should try this place!
This was my first time in years coming here. We absolutely loved it. Our waiter Taylor was very accommodating to our large party and everything was wonderful. The food and the service was 5 stars! Can't wait to go back!Food: 5/5
Almost 3 hours to be seated. I gave 1 star because the waitress was nice. The location is far away from the city. The place is near a swamp with alligators. Also, the parking lot is not paved. It was muggy. In the restaurant they missed two of my friend's food. A good thing is that they have lived country music.
Always a great place and atmosphere. Have been coming for years- since the ORIGINAL- and can say it has been a joy experiencing the changes with Pine Tree. Tonight we sat and ate at the bar and had Ms. Tonya behind the bar, and she was OUTSTANDING. We’ve never had a “bad” experience here, but hope to see Ms. Tonya again next week!
