I just called in to report a fire in the area. After explaining where it was, the person who answered blankly asked who would I like to speak to? I told him it was an emergency to send someone through. He asked me where it was, I told him that I just told him, to which he says that he couldn’t help. There was no one there to help, and ummm, he’ll look for a number to help me. I told him they was nonsense, and He fumbled away, so I put the phone down and called the Randburg fire department. No answer. This is not good enough!
I had to call an ambulance at approx. 23h30 last night to attend to my housekeeper in Jukskei Park. The medics in the ambulance were ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT and I cannot thank them enough for their caring, professional manner.
