Lucas "Masterpieces" Moripe Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium having a capacity of 28,900 and is located in Atteridgeville, a suburb of Pretoria, South Africa. It is currently used mostly for football matches and serves as part-time home stadium of Premier Soccer League clubs Supersport United and Mamelodi Sundowns who also use the Loftus Versfeld Stadium.The stadium was named after former local soccer player Lucas Moripe. Until 2010 the stadium was known as Super Stadium.The German national football team used it as a training venue during the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

IT was very nice, I went to watch Swallows playing with Supersport united

Stadium is very cool, summer there is no shades to protect against the sun. At least they need to clean the seats before game chairs always dirty. Besides that I enjoyed the vibes there.  Most importantly there is no place allocated for parking members parks at nearby people yards. Arriving early it is advantage.

A nice stadium however a total lack of a suitable site for refreshments especially in this heat.

The atmosphere in this place is out of this world.

I unfortunately didn't go through the stadium plus there are no events hosted. It locked security, functional and clean with pleasant toilets in the offices. Some maintenance needs to be done though.

Great stadium right in the middle of Atteridgeville. The lawn is well kept and gates are well manned during the games. There are not usually some top games here but quite a number of times, top matches such as the Pretoria derby between Supersport utd and Mamelodi Sundowns are held. The night pictures attached with my reviews are of the 2nd leg Champions league final between Supersport utd and TP Mazembe.  Come and watch!

Nice & chilled stadium

Lucas Moripe Stadium, previously known as Super Stadium, is situated in Atteridgeville Pheli, Pretoria.  Home to the biggest clubs in Pretoria and PSL champion title holders, Mamelodi Sundowns and Super Sport United.  This stadium was intentionally built as a multipurpose facility, with soccer and athletics track. It went further upgrades and was renamed to Lucas Moripe Stadium, seating over 28000 people.  The stadium has public restrooms, and is wheel chair accessible. Awesome place when packed to capacity.

My home space. Just saying that the outside immediate surroundings/ environment need some cleaning up.

The stadium was practically empty, probable 15% of the capacity was used, yet they refuse people entrance behind.
